SIZZLE STAR was first conceived as a quilt for a book by Tiffany Hayes called SPLICE MAGIC 2 and is published in that book using Riley Blake Batik Basics and Tiffany’s Splice Magic Technique, which is a lot of fun!. You can find that version in her book. This version of SIZZLE STAR does not conform to the Splice Magic technique, but has a very similar look. It is still made exclusively with half-square triangles and squares.
This is all traditional piecing.
