FRACTICAL (72″ x 72″)
The FRACTICAL quilt was originally designed as a paper piecing pattern to capture the fractures in ice in a quilt block and was done in blues, white, and aquas reminiscent of frigid Alaskan waters. The popularity of the pattern has grown into many types of fabric in an array of colors. It was also reworked into a traditionally pieced pattern for a quilting cruise and is now the only version available. It uses 12″ blocks to create this eye-catching quilt. For those who enjoyed it as a foundation paper piecing pattern, SPECTACLE is it’s successor that uses 10″ blocks to create the quilt.
FRACTICAL finishes 72″ x 72″ as seen on the cover. Optional sashings and borders expand it to 82.5″ x 82.5″.
